personal information we collect

We only collect personal information from you that we need to provide you with our services. When you register your interest or buy products on-line, the personal information we collect includes your name, billing and delivery addresses, delivery instructions, credit card details, email, contact phone numbers, address, confirmation that you are over 18, details of your computer’s operating system and some statistical information about your household. If you are a vividwireless customer, we may ask you for your user name, password, drivers’ licence number, date of birth and name of your first pet so that we can identify you over the phone. We also hold details of the services that you receive from us, such as usage details.

If you don’t provide us with personal information, we may not be able to deliver you the services that you want.

how we collect personal information

We only collect personal information directly from you on-line or over the phone. We only collect it by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonably intrusive way. We don’t collect any information about your race, political opinions, memberships of any associations, religion, health, disability or sexual preferences.

When we collect personal information we make sure that you are aware of what information we are collecting, how that information is used and who will see it. We display a link to this privacy policy and collection statement wherever we seek personal information.

To sign up to vividwireless and select a plan, you must be at least 18 years old. In all other cases, for example if you use the Contact Us form, we will not accept information from people under 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

We only use your personal information to provide you with our goods and services. We do not use your information for direct marketing unless you have agreed.

So we can be sure that you are who you say you are, if you contact us by phone we will request identifying information such as your user name, password, name of your first pet and driver's licence number. If you fail to provide this information, we may be unable to assist you until you satisfactorily identify yourself.

We are committed to the protection of your privacy, and all our policies, processes and systems have been developed with this in mind. However, errors do occur sometimes. If you think that we have not lived up to our commitment, please contact us.

We aim to respond to complaints within seven days. If we do not meet our privacy commitments, we will apologise and take reasonable action to correct the error. If you are not satisfied, you can refer the matter to the Privacy Commissioner on 1800 02 39 85.
