Congratulations to The Shepherd Centre who is the winner of our Happiness Movement competition with 970 likes!

The centre is being awarded AUD $10,000 for their 'Magical Music' therapy program, bringing joy into the lives of deaf children and their families. The program is designed to provide a creative, interactive learning environment to help improve children's communication through rhythm, melody and song. The centre receives only 30% government funding and their 'Magical Music' program simply wouldn't happen without funding from The Happiness Movement.

"The Shepherd Centre's vision is to give deaf children a voice, help them achieve their dreams and participate fully in the hearing world. The beautiful sound of a child singing can melt hearts and bring smiles to the faces of strangers. For parents of children born into a world of silence, witnessing their deaf child sing and dance along to music they once thought their child would never hear is a truly magical gift." - The Shepherd Centre

Claude Brown, General Manager of Vividwireless, said he is "thrilled to be able to name The Shepherd Centre as [their] Happiness Movement winner [and is] pleased that this money will be going to an organisation aimed at improving the lives of kids living with hearing loss."

"Being in a position where we are able to help make a difference is something that is very important to us and the reason behind the creation of The Happiness Movement. We wanted to do something that not only rewards the good deeds of Aussie Charities and not-for-profit organisations but also raises awareness for these great causes and sheds light on the positive acts that are being performed on a daily basis around our country."

Vividwireless would like to also congratulate all The Happiness Movement finalists, who are doing an amazing job providing happiness to those who need it the most, namely, Assistance Dogs Australia, batyr, Children's Tumour Foundation, SPARCle, Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation - Art Program, Sydney Legacy - Busselton Camp, The Exodus Foundation, The Fred Hollows Foundation, The Jodi Lee Foundation, The Orange Pigeon, Willing Older Workers W.O.W!
